Job Description & Requirements
The Data Informatics Developer will collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders, as well as product and engineering teams, to support and deliver data engineering and integration solutions, along with operational data support. In addition, the role involves leading small to medium complexity projects from inception to production and driving enhancements to internal data engineering processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of internal and external systems to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Manage data operations by triaging, mitigating, and optimizing data systems.
- Monitor internal data pipelines and perform regular health checks.
- Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure high-scale efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements.
- Convert business needs into technical specifications and develop Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs).
- Coordinate with the US-based internal team on workload management, technical architecture, and development reviews.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams on system maintenance and migration tasks.
- Design and implement ETL data pipelines and integrations following engineering best practices.
- Create actionable reports and dashboards to provide visibility into system performance.
- Maintain documentation for internal process improvements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in data engineering or a combination of industry and academic experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (Python, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, shell, or similar), with mandatory expertise in Python and PHP.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including stored procedures, complex joins, view creation, database scripting, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with relational databases, including data architectures and structures.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc.
- Understanding of product or project management.
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.

- Self-motivated, with a proven track record of taking initiative, being proactive, and achieving goals.
