Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement:
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives for utility systems operations, maintenance, and reliability programs.
- Establish performance metrics to ensure optimal utility operational efficiency.
- Lead or support utility projects, including the review of engineering design documentation and associated drawings.
- Lead or support Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and commissioning to ensure systems meet User Specification Requirements (URS).
- Participate in system walk-downs to ensure reliable operation of utility systems.
Safety and Quality Compliance Management:
- Lead and support audit readiness for regulatory inspections to ensure compliance with site SOPs, global SOPs, Good Engineering Practices (GEP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Support the development, revision, review, and approval of Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments, Preventive Maintenance programs, and Job Plans.
- Lead or support deviation investigations and ensure Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) are implemented to prevent recurrence.
- Lead or support change control or change evaluation initiatives to improve system reliability and operations.
- Actively promote and practice a strong safety culture.
Sustainability:
- Lead and support site sustainability programs by analyzing energy consumption data, benchmarking usage, and evaluating opportunities for optimization.
- Lead or support the development of business cases to drive site sustainability targets.
- Generate utilities consumption data for regulatory submissions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high computer literacy.
- Effective team player, capable of working across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with documentation requirements in highly regulated environments.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to build consensus among stakeholders.
- Ability to tactfully negotiate and positively influence peers.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying potential improvement opportunities.
