- Position : Stowage Operations Executive (Vessel Operations Exp) – Up to $5,000 – Temasek Avenue

- Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8.45 AM to 6.00 PM
- Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $5,000 + Mobile Claims + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Medical Allowance (No Cap) + Dental (up to $300 per year) + Gym ($150 per month)

Responsibilities:
- Central cargo stowage planning
- Calculate slot/space requirements for capacity management
- Optimize vessel stowage to achieve maximum utilization, optimum sailing condition for vessels, and optimum productivity for loading and discharging ports.
- Achieve maximum possible crane split requirement at each port of call of service
- Ensure correct segregation and stowage of special cargo in compliance to the international IMDG Code and in-house regulations.
- Liaising with local/external parties (PSA, Husbandry, MPA)
- Liaise locally with PSA for vessel stowage planning, berth creation and berth amendment.
- Acts as an advisory to global terminals for stowage issues.
- Coordinate with Terminal Managers for early berth arrangement.
- Advise and give instruction to port agents.
- Support Trade, Sales & Customer Service in all aspects relating to operational matters.
- Provide coastal schedule with recovery plan when vessel is behind proforma.
- Monitor and ensure that Master follow speed as advise basis on schedule.
- Manage daily operational requests (COD, whether partners are speeding up)
- Providing slots killed per OOGs.
- OOG, Dangerous Goods and flexi-tank approval
- Estimate round voyage costing
- Monitoring bunker consumption of vessels – Bunker consumption in port & at sea
- Monitoring number of cranes for each port provided by agents.
- Monitoring vessel reports and ensure all is in order
- Follow up on malfunction reefers and ensure all concerned parties are notified
- Attend to all masters’ request
- Manage & resolve any operational matters in timely manner
- Ensure Local billing are in order and claims are recovered accordingly.
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma Maritime Studies / Logistics & Supply Chain
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in vessel operations
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of working on Seacos/Macs3
- Should have experience in planning 4000-5000teu vessel with multiport loading.
- Conversant with IMDG Code
- Conversant with Port Net
- Working Knowledge of Excel / Pivot
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
