Job Description:
· Perform on-site servicing (maintenance), repairing (troubleshooting), and replacement (installation) of air cons where appropriate.
· On-site testing of systems for proper function, performing emergency repairs.
· Adhere to all safety precautionary measures while carrying out service assignments.
· Attend to customer inquiries and complaints.
· Recommend preventive measures, provide prompt and effective resolution to technical problems.
· Inventory check & submit orders for supplies requisition.
· Provide guidance and technical assistance to sub-contractors on service assignments, testing, and commissioning.
· Log all maintenance issues.
· Inspect, maintain and repair residential Air-Conditioner system.
· Attend service calls on electrical tripping, drainage chokes, household appliances, etc.
· Attend to ad hoc delivery and purchases requests.
· Respond to emergency calls on critical services beyond office hours, i.e. on standby duties.
· Install, maintain, and repair various types and brands of air conditioning systems, including single/multi-split units, ceiling cassettes, ducted units, etc.
· Performs regular preventive maintenance and corrective works on the air conditioning system.
· Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
· Carries out repair works such as replacement of air-con compressor, fan coil motors, etc.
Requirements:
· Must have at least 5 years experience as an Air-con technician.
· Must have class 3 license and clean driving record.
· Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning and refrigeration.
· Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
· Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
· Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
· Ability to work in confined spaces.
· Can work as a team and independently with good positive attitude.
