Responsibilities:
- Aircraft Maintenance:
- Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Inspect, test, repair, maintain, and service aircraft to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Provide preventive maintenance by examining and inspecting components regularly to prevent potential issues.
- Coordination and Scheduling:
- Coordinate scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance tasks to align with operational requirements.
- Oversee parts ordering and resource coordination to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and meet customer expectations.
- Plan and schedule maintenance work, collaborating with the Planner/Project Executive to ensure tasks are on track.
- Technical Documentation and Compliance:
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine repair or replacement methods for malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in accordance with manuals, regulations, and required forms/systems.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnosis:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft problems to identify root causes.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to resolve issues effectively.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other relevant parties.
- Regularly meet with the Planner/Project Executive to review maintenance schedules and progress.
Requirements:
- Licenses and Certification:
- Valid CAAS B1.2 license.
- Recent certification experience as an Engineer.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Experience with GENERAL AVIATION piston/turboprop airframes is preferred.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to document maintenance performed accurately on required forms/systems.
- Proactive, meticulous, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated with good prioritization skills.
- Good spoken and written English communication skills.
