PR Responsibilities
- Assist in writing and distributing pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, reports and other communications material
- Monitor media to report coverage that affects the client’s business
- Create and maintain media and influencer lists
- Maintain client management trackers
- Handle media and influencer inquiries
- Proactively identify and pitch media and influencer opportunities
- Coordinate specific events and publicity for the client under the guidance of a supervisor
- Support research and brainstorming for campaigns and new business pitches
Social Media Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of social and digital media content for clients
- Help with day to day monitoring for topics and trends
- Conduct social listening and reporting with tools, providing insights and observations
- Support social media and digital campaign reporting, providing insights and analysis
- Support research and brainstorming for campaigns and new business pitches
Requirements
- Degree in PR / Media/Communication / Marketing or equivalent
- Language skills: Fluency in English. Command of another language is considered a plus;
- Knowledge and interest in Integrated Communications (across both media and social) is a must
- Have a flair for writing media and social copy
- Computer skills: MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication & writing skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and perform under tight deadlines
