Our client is a global MNC, one of the most established pioneers in the Chemical industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Facilities & Maintenance Executive to be part of their Facilities Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Duties of Facilities & Maintenance Executive:
- Assist in planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of buildings, facilities, and machinery at the production plant.
- Perform various hands-on repair and maintenance tasks, including basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
- Apply maintenance strategies and industry best practices to achieve consistent reliability and availability of plant equipment.
- Collaborate with subsidiary companies on technology transfers to enhance maintenance performance standards.
- Assist in planning and managing plant shutdown maintenance.
- Review and assess contractors’ performance and timesheets.
- Undertake special projects or assignments as directed by management.
- Implement and adhere to the requirements of the company’s QEHS Management System, including ISO and OHSAS standards and applicable legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant experience
