Responsibilities:
- Policy Implementation:
- Understand and implement the Company's QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety) Policy and procedures on assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with the Project QEHS plan/manual and that all project requirements are met.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that assigned projects adhere to quality requirements as specified in design drawings and contract documentation.
- Liaise with clients and sub-contractors' quality representatives to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Audits and Monitoring:
- Monitor the implementation of the QEHS system through periodic internal and external audits.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, and follow up on corrective actions as required.
- Client and Sub-Contractor Liaison:
- Participate in audits conducted by clients’ teams to review the company’s systems and procedures on assigned projects.
- Investigate and document any complaints from clients regarding quality issues, and ensure resolutions are effectively implemented.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality requirements, audit findings, and corrective actions.
- Prepare reports summarizing audit results, compliance status, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Skills:
- Construction Knowledge: Understanding of construction processes and quality requirements.
- Asian Markets Experience: Familiarity with construction practices and regulations in Asian markets.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting.
- Incident Investigation: Ability to investigate and document incidents and quality complaints.
- Assessor Skills: Experience in assessing compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Compliance and Audits: Experience in conducting audits and ensuring adherence to QEHS standards.
- Engineering Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles, particularly in engineering and civil projects.
- Civil Engineering: Understanding of civil engineering principles related to quality and safety.
- Additional Qualities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaising with clients and sub-contractors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlines.
