Responsibilities:
- System Design and Submissions:
- Ensure system design and shop drawing submissions comply with project specifications and requirements.
- Plan and monitor the progress of all system design and shop drawing submissions to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Technical Analysis and Drawings:
- Analyze technical specifications to develop concept drawings, system designs, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Ensure all designs and drawings comply with relevant specifications, standards, and codes of practice.
- Process Improvement:
- Assist in setting up systems and processes to enhance the standards and efficiency of the Technical Department.
- Collaboration and Compliance:
- Collaborate with the Technical and Project teams to develop and implement effective design strategies.
- Ensure that the design process meets all legislative requirements, standards, and codes of practice where applicable.
- Meetings and Communication:
- Attend sales, technical, and project meetings as required to provide design-related input and updates.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facade design, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Expertise in system design, drawing creation, and fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design tools.
- Knowledge of construction processes, compliance regulations, and design standards.
- Additional Qualities:
- Ability to analyze and develop technical specifications and drawings accurately.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and project teams.
- Effective communication skills to participate in meetings and coordinate with various stakeholders.
