- Assist non-ambulant and semi-ambulant residents with their toilet needs and mobility.
- Bathe frail residents and those who need assistance in showering.
- Shave and cut hair for residents regularly, and ensure their fingernails and toenails are trimmed once a week.
- Supervise and assist residents in handwashing before each meal.
- Refer residents, medical problems to the Duty PCO and nursing staff and accompany them to hospitals and polyclinics for their medical appointments.
- Accompany residents for outings and brisk walk.
- Serve food and drinks to residents at mealtimes and to wash their utensils after meals.
- Clean and disinfect the residents' dormitories and general areas daily.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Home Management team and Duty Officers.
Requirements
- Minimally HMI cert in healthcare assissting with prior experience working
- comfortable to work in a palliative care setting
