Responsibilities:
- Senior Structural Design Engineer is responsible for driving the successful execution of projects in line with project requirements. The candidate reviews designs, specifications, calculations, and other submissions, overseeing the project assessment phases.
- Ensures that designs and models meet project specifications, leads the tendering process, and manages a team of engineers while fostering continuous performance improvement.
- May need to fulfill the role of a Qualified Person as per the Building Control Act.
- The role requires working both in the office and on project sites.
Requirements:
- Recognized Degree in Building Construction Management, Civil and/or Structural Engineering, building discipline or equivalent
- Knowledge in BIM
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in Singapore Construction Industry, high rise commercial building / mixed development project is preferred
- Must be familiar with the Singapore Construction Industry Code of Practice, rules, and regulations in accordance with the Professional Engineers Act; Resident Engineer Accreditation; Resident Technical Engineer Accreditation; Building Control Act; Fire Safety Act & Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act
