Job Description
The role will be the first line of the tactical intelligence initiative that enhances the situational awareness and operational readiness of the Global Security Operations (GSO) leadership and the outputs of the Global Security Operation Centre - APAC (GSOC-APAC).
The SOC Analyst is highly motivated, focused and should work well under pressure. Additionally, he/she will assist to develop the programs through understanding the resources and highlighting the regional intricacies. Specifically, the role requires a broad understanding of the political and electoral systems of the countries in the region with effective monitoring of elections.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Data Collection & Management: Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Manage and maintain databases and data systems.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data using statistical methods and tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Create detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
- Reporting: Develop and present regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators. Provide actionable recommendations based on analysis.
- Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar, to make complex data more accessible and understandable.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide support for data-driven decision-making.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data validation and quality checks. Identify and address any data discrepancies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest data analysis techniques and tools. Suggest and implement improvements to data processes and systems.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on current events for countries in APAC region, specifically on political and electoral developments.
- Monitor publicly available open-source content online (surface web) using advanced techniques and proprietary systems to provide a 24/7 (follow the sun) tactical intelligence picture as directed by business stakeholders.
- Actively threat hunt for risk events that may adversely impact the Company’s people, assets and reputation at the tactical level – with particular emphasis on indicators and warnings requiring a physical security response.

Job Requirements
- High proficiency of written/spoken English – essential for report writing and briefing.
- Open source intelligence and research experience essential.
- Robust research and analytical skills with emphasis on tactical considerations.
- Able to receive direct feedback and respond effectively.
- Time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues.
- Proficient computer skills like, Boolean Search Queries. MS Office/ Office 365 Apps and good awareness of online security vulnerabilities with consideration for personal security.
- Strong analytical, open source research, critical thinking, problem solving, time management skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports
- Ability to work in a team and individual environment by balancing multiple competing priorities
- Think through problems for logical solutions while remaining calm and professional during a fast-paced, high-stress situation
- Comfortable taking actions with only 80% of the information or less and owning the decision
- Be comfortable with viewing graphic images/videos
- Self-motivated with limited guidance
- Travel, educational, and language experience abroad is highly desired
