Job Scope:
- Lead and guide a team of assembly mechanics, ensuring safety, quality, and performance, while providing support, motivation, and training.
- Oversee the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in the oil and gas industry, adhering to standards and supporting troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
- Conduct safety meetings and inspections, maintaining records of safety incidents, equipment maintenance, and personnel training.
- Inspect work to meet quality standards, correct deviations, and collaborate with quality control for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate work records and prepare reports on project progress, equipment status, and team performance, documenting and resolving issues as needed.
Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in mechanical assembly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in mechanical assembly, including 2 years in a supervisory role in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and technical manuals; strong mechanical aptitude; experienced with hand and power tools.
