OL Garments is an end-to-end garment manufacturing company, offering the full suite of services from design, production, till delivery.
The Goods Delivery Driver and Packer will be responsible for packing goods securely and delivering them to various locations. At the same time, he/she will assist in various tasks in the company such as management of inventory items. The ideal candidate will have excellent teamwork, good time management, have a positive and helpful attitude.
Key Responsibilities
1. Packing Duties: Inspect and prepare goods for shipment
- Pack, label and prepare cartons for delivery.
- Ensure packaging meets required standards.
- Perform inventory checks and other duties as assigned.
2. Delivery Duties: Load goods onto delivery vehicles.
- Deliver goods to various locations in a timely and safe manner.
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures.
- Handle goods with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain delivery logs and records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Administrative tasks including sending van for inspection / maintenance as required, manage delivery-related expenses such as parking and fuel (reimbursable).
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Packer, Delivery Driver, or similar role.
- Valid Class 3/3A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physically fit.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
