Responsibilities:
- The Design Manager plays a key role in planning and developing projects, contributing to the creation of engineering designs that align with project requirements, from conceptual stages through to schematic and detailed designs.
- He/She aids in the design process and coordinates design models, while also conducting risk assessments to identify potential project risks.
- The ideal candidate is meticulous, highly detail-oriented, and possesses strong knowledge of civil and structural practices. They are analytical, have excellent problem-solving skills, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective stakeholder management, and the candidate is expected to work on-site.
Requirements:
- Recognized Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 7-10 years experience in the Singapore Construction Industry, high-rise commercial building / mixed development/semiconductor factory/healthcare building project is preferred.
- Certificate in Construction Safety Course for Project Managers
