Responsibilities:
- The General Manager (Construction) should have extensive experience and expertise in the construction industry and will report directly to the Managing Director.
- Offering guidance and input to the team on marketing strategies, identifying potential job opportunities, managing tenders, and ensuring the successful execution and completion of all projects within budget and on schedule.
- Collaborating with the Corporate Planning Team to develop and implement the company’s strategic plan, successfully meeting both long-term and short-term team goals and objectives.
- Working closely with the General Managers of Engineering, MEP, Commercial, Contracts, and Finance & Administration divisions to streamline and optimize operational processes, enhancing efficiency and productivity to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Recognized Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering) or equivalent, preferably recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore or Board of Architects.
- At least 20 years of practical working experience with 10 years in Building Projects Construction Management with the Main contractor in a Senior Management role.
- Certificate in Construction Safety Course for Project Managers
- Good knowledge of local authority requirements and engineering standards
