Billing Activities
- Prepare and issue invoices based on documentation provided by stakeholders.
- Follow up with stakeholders regarding billing requests once payment is received.
- Ensure invoices are generated and sent to customers promptly.
- Prepare credit notes as needed.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness in issuing all bills.
Collection Activities
- Process and apply payments to invoices through various payment methods.
- Follow up with customers to address issues causing delays in collections.
- Actively contact customers about overdue invoices.
- Reconcile bank receipts with online transactions and follow up on any unidentified transactions/receipts.
- Handle refunds as necessary.
Closing Activities
- Complete month-end closing and reconciliation for accounts receivable.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Prepare all relevant monthly supporting schedules, including advance billing and receipts.
System Enhancement / Development
- Participate in solution implementation, including system testing, data verification, evaluating solution logic, and conducting parallel system runs.
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders from other departments regarding billing matters and resolve any billing discrepancies or inquiries.
- Adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures to protect company assets and ensure accurate financial records.
- Contribute to and support business process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in accounting or finance role.
- accounting knowledge will be added advantage
- Immediate starter is preferred
