Responsibilities:
- Lead new projects with a focus on process optimization, operational support, and improvements from an engineering perspective.
- Troubleshoot production processes, identify root causes, and recommend improvement plans.
- Develop and organize related documentation (e.g., Hazop/LOPA, drawings, standard operating procedures).
- Oversee on-site construction activities as outlined.
- Conduct plant optimization tests.
- Prepare study reports using chemical engineering knowledge, including modeling and calculations.
- Coordinate and execute plant modification tasks (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation including DCS, civil work) in collaboration with relevant parties, including vendors and contractors.
- Review and verify drawings and P&IDs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and government requirements for permits and licenses.
- Facilitate the handover of new facilities and equipment to the Production and Maintenance departments.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering preferably
- 4 years’ experience from refinery / petrochemical industry
- Experience in modification job in a leading position.
