MedTech Catapult is a national initiative for accelerating the development of high-value MedTech projects. The product development unit is responsible for supporting the medical device development cycle with project management, quality, regulatory and clinical affairs capabilities.
The Project Manager will report to the Principal Project Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle. This includes the overall project planning, execution, monitor/control, closure and general conduct of the project
- Ensure successful delivery of project scope and targets while managing project risk, quality, delivery, scope, schedule, budget, communication and escalation
- Reports to the Project OIC if there are any deviations or anticipated problems which may materially affect the project and where necessary provide updates to stakeholders
- Creates and updates project record in a Project Management System (e.g. A*STAR Project Management System where applicable)
- Documentation of project challenges upon closure and build continuity in management process
- To support other operational activities of the Programme Office
Requirements
- Bachelor in any engineering / project management-related discipline
- At least 5 years of project management experience; experience in product development, design control and/or new product introduction for medical device and/or Life Science instrumentation will be advantageous
- PMP certifications or equivalent will be advantageous
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO13485, ISO14971, 21 CFR Part 820 will be advantageous
- Good collaboration skills, organised and detailed-oriented
