Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to be part of the client acquisition and relationship management efforts in SEA market for custody and clearing services. The role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of capital markets, regulations, and the operational processes related to settlement, clearing, and custody.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition:Drive business growth by identifying and securing new clients across the SEA Market
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base for custody and clearing services.
- Relationship Management:Manage and strengthen relationships with existing clients, focusing on client satisfaction and retention.
Cross-sell additional services and products to deepen client engagement.
- Market Knowledge:Stay updated on capital markets, regulatory developments, and the competitive landscape in India and SE-Asia.
Adapt business strategies based on market trends and regulatory changes.
- Networking:Build and maintain a strong network with clients, regulators, and industry consultants in the region.
Represent the company at industry events and meetings to enhance brand presence and credibility.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. MBA preferred.
- Experience:5-7 years of experience in business development or sales within financial services, with a focus on custody and clearing services.
Proven success in client acquisition and relationship management in the SEA region.
