Castlery is looking for a Project Manager (Retail Store) to join our Merchandising Department.
The role of Project Manager will be a high-impact position in our Merchandising team, responsible for driving the global offline retail design & build expansion of Castlery’s brand through the successful execution of flagship showroom projects.
You will work closely with our current Retail Store Project Manager to set up showroom project plans, manage project templates, oversee design and build (D&B) prefabrication, and standardize showroom processes. This role will enhance our brand presence and customer experience by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will solve complex challenges related to design, construction, and logistics, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

What you’ll be doing
- Project Planning and Coordination:Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with internal teams (design, sourcing, logistics, marketing, finance) and external partners (contractors, architects, suppliers).
Conduct feasibility studies and site evaluations.
- Design and Quality Assurance:Work closely with interior designers and architects to develop and refine showroom designs.
Ensure designs align with brand standards and customer experience goals.
Oversee quality control processes during prefabrication, shipping, and on-site assembly.
- Execution and Oversight:Manage all phases of showroom construction, from site acquisition to final setup.
Coordinate with local contractors and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Budget and Cost Management:Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and efficient use of resources.
Handle financial documentation, including invoices, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Stakeholder Communication:Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular project updates and reports.
Facilitate meetings and ensure alignment across all teams involved in the project.
- Risk Management:Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Implement contingency plans as needed to address unforeseen challenges.
- Special Responsibilities:Assist in the setup of showroom project plans and templates.
Manage design and build (D&B) prefabrication processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Standardize showroom project plans to streamline future projects and maintain consistency.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, specifically in retail store development or similar environments.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Experience in architecture or interior design, with a strong understanding of design principles and construction processes.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
