CARPENTER MANAGER

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Carpenter Manager oversees and coordinates all carpentry projects, ensuring they align with interior design plans and client specifications. This role includes managing a team of carpenters, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality workmanship. The Carpenter Manager develops and implements project schedules, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints, and conducts regular site inspections to uphold safety regulations and quality standards. Collaboration with interior designers is key to accurately and efficiently executing design concepts. Additionally, the role involves ordering and managing carpentry materials and tools, maintaining inventory to prevent delays. The Carpenter Manager addresses on-site issues and client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and prepares detailed progress reports for upper management, highlighting milestones, budget adherence, and potential risks.


Specific Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in interior design projects.

2. Oversee daily operations, ensuring all projects meet client specifications, deadlines, and budget constraints.

3. Coordinate with project managers, designers, and contractors to streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation.

4. Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any potential delays or issues to ensure timely completion.

5. Manage the procurement and logistics of materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

6. Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions to enhance team skills and maintain high standards.

7. Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations across all projects.

8. Prepare detailed operational reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics, project status, and areas for improvement.

Duration of the Traineeship/Attachment offered- 6 months

  • Mature Mid Career Individuals - $2500

This Position is open for mid career individuals (Mature, 40 years and above).
