Overview:
- We are seeking a Video Content Strategist to lead the development of English language education content for children, focusing on creating engaging videos and multimedia materials. This role involves expanding content distribution across various platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the creation of videos, animated characters, and other multimedia materials aimed at teaching English to children.
- Manage the creative process from initial concept through to production, ensurin that content meets educational objectives and engages the target audience effectively.
- Monitor and utilize online trends to enhance content relevance, appeal, and engagement across different platforms.
- Develop and implement strategies for distributing content across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Work closely with a team of designers, animators, and other content creators to ensure high-quality production and seamless execution.
- Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.
- Oversee project timelines, manage budgets, and ensure that content production stays on schedule and within budget.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to align content strategies with broader educational goals and business objectives.
- Propose and implement new content ideas and formats to keep the content fresh and engaging.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Digital Media, Communications, Media Production, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Proven minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in directing and producing educational content for children, with specific focus on the 2-5 aged group.
- Strong understanding of online trends and content strategies, with the ability to incorporate these into effective content.
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a team and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with content creation tools and software, such as video editing software and animation tools.
- Ability to analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance content quality.
