- To enhance workplace health and safety management in the following aspects.
- Assist management of EHS program to achieve target and administrate safety management system.
- Compliance to all Singapore legislation in related to EHS requirements.
- Company’s policies and procedures, ISO14K & 45K.
- Understood and implement corporate procedures.
- Engaging with line operation in implementing of EHS programs through providing support on communication & training.
- Provide advisory to Project in-charge pertaining to EHS requirement and eliminating of potential hazards before commencing work.
- New machine purchase/process line development.
- Facility improvement and maintenance programs.
- Review risk assessment and administrate PTWs for all hazardous work – Company and Contractors.
- Ensure all mitigating measures are in place before issuing PTW.
- Conduct safety buy off on new machine installation/new process line startup.
- Conduct accident investigation and establishing the root cause and corrective action.
- Work schedule may require performing night duties.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Chemical or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certified Safety Officer
- Good knowledge in legal requirements regulations relating to Environmental, Safety and Health
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills
- Positive attitude to motivate and inspire workers and contractors at workplace
- Adaptability to changes in work environment
