We are looking to speak to Data Scientists!
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to define project goals, gather requirements, and identify relevant data sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and iteratively refine the analysis to better understand the problem and explore potential solutions.
- Choose and develop the appropriate machine learning algorithms or statistical models to address specific business questions.
- Interpret and present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Data and ML engineers to integrate models and algorithms into production systems effectively.
- Contribute to the development of data science infrastructure, tools, and frameworks to streamline data analysis, experimentation, and model deployment.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the Data & Analytics team's methodologies.
- Ensure that solution delivery aligns with Agile methodologies, supporting iterative development and timely delivery
Requirements:
- Over 7 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong record of delivering impactful, data-driven solutions.
- Expertise in Python and SQL, including hands-on experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries such as Pandas, Polars, NumPy, and SciPy.
- Skilled in machine learning frameworks and libraries, including PyTorch and scikit-learn, as well as data visualization tools like matplotlib and seaborn.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, including regression, SVM, gradient boosting, LSTMs, and Transformers, with experience in working with time series data.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong ability to think critically and analytically.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and collaborative, with a proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models is highly desirable.
- Experience implementing optimization methods such as linear programming is a plus.
