IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER [COMMUNICATION: DWDM]

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Involved in providing project management support (to 1 or more teams) by:
- Managing & coordinating with (multiple) vendors in a large-scale communication related projects (i.e.: DWDM, Radio Frequency, Networking, TCP/IP, Carrier Ethernet, Software defined WAN, etc.)
- Conducting routine inspections & audits in areas relating to both software and hardware [i.e.: Backend (Network, Switches, Firewalls, Servers, IT Security Equipment, Backend Systems including Cybersecurity related, etc.), and Front-End (Monitoring Management Systems, etc.)]
- Reviewing, witnessing & modification of design documents, test plans, testing (System, Acceptance, etc.)
- Supporting the configuration & implementation of security and network designs
- Working closely with relevant stakeholders, and cross functional teams/ vendors to address critical incidents, resolution matters, project progresses, etc.
- Creation & presenting (during meetings) of various project related reports & statuses to the management on routine basis (i.e.: service delivery performance, KPI metrics, project planning/ validating reports, project progress/ status reports, issue management and resolution report, post-incident review reports, upcoming projects’ information reports, system performance reports, etc.)
- Analysing 3rd party, internal processes and contractors to create strategies (& provide feedbacks) for service delivery optimization opportunities
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
(From time-to-time, would be required to travel to multiple sites within Singapore)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have at least 3 – 5 years of relevant project management working experiences in transmission and IP transport technologies (including DWDM, carrier ethernet, TCP/IP and Software Defined WAN)
- Required to have Project Management related certification (e.g.: PMP, CITPM, etc.)
- Required to have Network related certification (e.g.: CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
- Experienced coordinating/ liaising closely with & managing vendors and stakeholders
- Comfortable to travel to multiple sites within Singapore, and provide stand-by support in essential cases
