Managing Director

Ruide 3R is an innovative startup focused on revolutionizing waste management and recycling in Singapore. Specializing in the handling of industrial waste, commercial waste, e-waste, and other recyclable materials, RUIDE aims to drive sustainability and efficiency in the waste management industry.

We are seeking a dynamic Managing Director (MD) to lead our organization through its growth phase and beyond. The MD will be responsible for setting strategic direction, overseeing operations, and ensuring that RUIDE achieves its mission of transforming waste management practices. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience in the recycling industry, 10 years of experience in a managerial capacity, a strong track record of leadership, and a passion for sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute Ruide 3R's strategic vision, ensuring alignment with our mission to enhance waste management and recycling practices.
   Lead the development of business strategies to drive growth, operational efficiency, and market expansion.
   Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, industry partners, and investors.
   
2. Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient processing of industrial, commercial, and e-waste.
   Implement best practices in waste management and recycling to optimize operational performance and sustainability.
   Monitor and analyze KPIs, addressing any performance issues and implementing necessary improvements.
   
3. Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure financial health and stability.
   Achieve financial targets and manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.
   Assess and manage risks to protect the company’s assets and investments.
   
4. Leadership and Team Development: Provide visionary leadership and support to senior management and staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
   Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
   Drive employee engagement and satisfaction, ensuring a motivated and productive workforce.
   
5. Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the waste management and recycling sectors.
   Explore and pursue partnerships, collaborations, and market expansions to accelerate company growth.
   Lead initiatives for innovation in waste management technologies and practices.
   
6. Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards, particularly those specific to waste management and recycling.
   

Experiences:

• At least 3 years of experience in the recycling or waste management industry.
• At least 10 years of experience in a managerial role in any industry.
• Proven experience in an executive leadership role, preferably within a startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of financial management, business operations, and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to advancing recycling practices.
