Job Description

  • Lead the avionics engineering team responsible for serving as the primary technical liaison between production engineers, customers, and OEMs for the Boeing and Airbus fleets, addressing aircraft defects.
  • Liaise with Production to evaluate, analyse and troubleshoot defects. Coordinate with Airlines / OEMs to get approval on recommend modifications.
  • Ability to appreciate electrical diagrams and schematics. Knowledge on aircraft avionic system and OEM’s WDM, SWPM & ESPM preferable
  • Provide planning and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and coordinate workload effectively within a dynamic and multi-project environment.
  • Employ scheduling effectively to optimize resource allocation and meet aircraft delivery schedule.
  • Monitor aircraft maintenance projects on defect status daily to ensure all the defects are rectified on time.
  • Participate in customer meetings to ensure that engineering issues related to aircraft defects are effectively addressed.
  • Generate engineering documents to address discrepancies on an Aircraft which is outside the scope of manuals (AMM, CMM, WDM, SB etc.) or other approved documents (Job cards, Engineering Order etc.)
  • Coordinate with Planning department to ensure that revised engineering documentation from customers are effectively released to Production line.

Job Requirement

  • Degree or equivalent certification in Electrical Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience with at least 3 years in Aerospace industry
  • Team player, able to multi-task and handle tight schedule
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Proficient in MS office suites
