The Duty Manager supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the front office department to ensure the smooth delivery of guest service in accordance with the department's service standards and procedures.
Reponsibilities:
- Plans operations resources, allocates work assignments, maintains accurate room status information and handles operational irregularities.
- Manages the team's service performance, oversees service recovery and interacts with guests to build guest relationships and gather service feedback
- Directs and oversees all hotel operations to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
- Conducts briefing for all staff to inform them of nightly activities, group and VIP arrivals, special requests, and repeat guests.
- Reviews systems and processes, comes up with new ideas and implements sustainable programmes.
Pre-requisites
- A Diploma in hospitality or travel related disciplines
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in similiar capacity
- Possesses exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to interact with culturally diverse guests
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to deliver consistent quality guest service in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
