Purchasing:
- Source, negotiate costs, establish credit terms, and oversee the procurement of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and other necessary items.
- Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers and actively follow up to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain a vigilant eye on deliveries, tracking shipments, and ensuring items reach their intended destinations promptly.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new potential suppliers/vendors to enhance cost-effective procurement.
- Keep comprehensive records, coordinate with multiple suppliers, and analyze costs for purchasing requisitions.
- Issue Letters of Credit (L/C) to suppliers for raw material purchases and diligently monitor delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with production to coordinate incoming shipments and facilitate the smooth receipt of goods.
- Monitor customs clearance activities, ensuring strict compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Filing and any other ad-hoc duties
Accounting:
- Perform data entry for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank transactions and clearing accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare and manage the supplier payment cycle, promoting financial stability.
- Take responsibility for managing partial set of accounts.
- Prepare monthly statements and reports, and assist in quarterly GST submissions.
- Provide support in month-end closing activities to maintain financial integrity.
- Filing and any other ad-hoc duties
