Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across all technology platforms. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network security, and providing technical support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and other critical systems.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Install, configure, and update hardware and software as needed.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data and ensure network security.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in IT management.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Experience with network administration and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
