Our client, a growing private equity firm in the region, is seeking a proactive IT Manager to design, build, and enhance IT infrastructure and systems to meet business needs. The IT Manager will also oversee the implementation, reporting, and support across various business units, including finance, operations, human resources, risk and compliance, investment, and portfolio management. This role is crucial in developing, implementing, and managing the firm’s IT systems, processes, workflows, and procedures in alignment with the governance framework, and will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s digital growth and future development.
The Role
You will deliver comprehensive enterprise architectural design, lifecycle management, and guidance for multi-cloud and hybrid environment integration. You will ensure IT projects adhere to architectural standards, leveraging cloud-native or hybrid technologies to align with organizational progress. You will facilitate IT architecture creation and lifecycle management to meet business needs, maintain, update, and oversee IT documentation, vendor relationships, and external implementation partners for optimal service delivery and end-user support. You will spearhead cybersecurity frameworks and incident handling, collaborating with internal and external audit teams. You will also contribute to IT team development through training, recruitment, best practices, and knowledge sharing, enhance systems based on business requirements, ensuring network infrastructure reliability, overseeing physical access, and partner with the Managing Directors in aligning IT with business strategy. Lastly, you will manage IT resources, evaluate risks, formulate policies, and coordinate IT budgeting.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. They should possess a minimum of 12 years of IT experience, including the design and implementation of complex, large-scale distributed systems and applications, with at least 8 years in a managerial role. Preferred qualifications include ITIL/ITSM or equivalent globally recognized IT management certifications, as well as professional certifications from vendors such as Cisco, Checkpoint, or Microsoft. The candidate should have a proven track record in leading and operating APAC-level IT projects, including office setups, systems migrations, and cloud/hybrid IT services, as well as experience managing ServiceDesk/Virtual teams and cybersecurity operations. They must have strong expertise in cloud and hybrid systems design and implementation, with the ability to architect complex systems interactions involving data flows, common interfaces, and APIs.
A solid background in network infrastructure design and management, coupled with strong knowledge of performance monitoring and automation tools, is essential. The candidate should also demonstrate strong problem-solving, management, and analytical skills, with in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, disaster recovery management, and security. Familiarity with various vendor products, such as Cisco, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto, is required, along with a good understanding of end-user hardware, software, operating systems, and connectivity. Experience in managing cloud PBX voice and video conferencing systems, along with demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity frameworks and procedures, is critical. Additionally, knowledge of distribution and enterprise application systems, as well as database administration, is preferred.
