Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead the development and management of video streaming products, specifically targeting the global Chinese-speaking audience. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the film and television industry, with a deep understanding of content distribution, user experience, and the ability to manage the full product lifecycle from concept to launch. This role requires close collaboration with technical, content production, and marketing teams to ensure that our platform attracts and retains users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead the entire project management process, from ideation to product launch, ensuring that goals are met on time and within budget.
- Product Development: Collaborate with the development team to enhance the platform's user experience, including video playback, content recommendation, and search functionality, ensuring the product meets market demands and undergoes continuous improvement.
- Market Research: Conduct industry and competitor analysis, keeping up with the latest trends in film and television content, especially in the Chinese-speaking market.
- Content Management: Coordinate with content producers and licensors to ensure a robust selection of high-quality video content on the platform that meets user demands.
- User Feedback: Gather and analyze user feedback to make informed recommendations for improving the viewing experience and driving product enhancements.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data insights to develop effective growth strategies and content promotion plans.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Marketing, or related fields. Candidates with experience in managing video streaming products will be preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of project management or product management experience, particularly in online video streaming platforms or film and television products.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the film and television content production, distribution, and market demand, with a strong awareness of user behavior and content consumption trends.
