Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and driven Technical Support cum Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients while also playing a crucial role in driving sales of our security and networking solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in security systems and networking, coupled with a passion for customer service and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security systems including CCTV, alarm systems, card access, intercom systems, and networking solutions.
Perform on-site installations, configuration, maintenance, and repairs of security and networking systems.
Assist clients with system configurations, network setups, and remote access, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing effective solutions and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through client interactions, referrals, and networking.
Develop and present tailored proposals and quotes to potential clients.
Work closely with the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, new products, and emerging technologies.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and technical support cases.
Qualifications:
ITE, Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
Proven experience in technical support or sales engineering, preferably in the security systems and networking industry.
In-depth knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, card access, intercom systems, and networking technologies.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver’s license is preferred.
