The Role:
- Gathering requirements
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software
- Preparing and submitting deliverables throughout the SDLC (e.g., Business Rules, SRS, Architecture Documents, Source Codes, Testing Specifications and Manuals)
- Providing day-to-day application support
- Liaising with users on requirements, design and testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in software development
- Experience with at least one full SDLC and SDLC documentation
- Expertise in Java/JEE, web programming on UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
- Proficiency in database programming (SQL, DAO) and experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Software Modernization, Containerization, Microservices
- Familiarity with Agile development, continuous integration, AWS ECS, Docker and DevOps principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Team player and self-motivated
