Job Responsibilities:
- Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and third-party tools.
- Extract and clean raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency before analysis.
- Automate data collection processes where possible to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business decisions.
- Use statistical techniques and data modeling to uncover insights and make predictions.
- Interpret data findings and translate them into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
- Use tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar to create interactive data visualizations.
- Present data findings in meetings and provide explanations to non-technical audiences.
- Ensure data integrity by regularly auditing datasets and maintaining data quality standards.
- Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and processes to support data analysis activities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve data infrastructure, storage, and retrieval processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s in Data Science or Analytics) or certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst) are advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong track record of delivering actionable insights.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing complex data analysis.
- Industry-specific experience (e.g., finance, healthcare, marketing) may be required depending on the role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and data warehousing solutions.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques is a plus.
