We are seeking a full-time Therapist Assistant to join our Heart & Lung Physio team. As a Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with basic clinic administrative duties, monitoring clients during therapy activities and assisting therapists in treatment or assessment delivery. Toegther with the therapists, you will also be responsible for promoting physical fitness and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle to the public through ad-hoc community outreach programs and education workshops.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Rehabilitation:
- Assist in the preparation of patients for treatment
- Support physiotherapists in assessments and treatments, providing physical assistance as needed
- Prepare and set up therapy equipment for patient's use
- Supervise and implement exercise according to the exercise programme prescribed by the physiotherapist and ensure proper setup of equipment.
- Assist with therapy activities as well as assisting in lifting and transfer of patients whenever required
- Maintain therapy equipment and scheduling of maintenance
Administrative:
- Take charge of technical duties, including inventory control, to facilitate smooth operations.
- Attend to all appointment related enquiries, scheduling of client appointment and sending weekly appointment reminders
- Maintain billing and payment records
- Maintain record of client statistics
Promoting Physical Fitness:
- Create monthly engaging educational materials on heart and lung and chronic diseases (e.g., Instagram and Facebook posts).
- Assist with planning and conducting workshops, and public talks to promote the role of physiotherapy in chronic disease and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Therapy Assistance or related field
- Experience in Physiotherapy/Healthcare field is a bonus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy meeting and helping people
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
- Will be able to commute to 2 places: Novena Royal square medical Centre and Fifth Ave Guthrie House

Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,400.00 per month
