Reponsibility:
- Ensure maintenance tasks are done properly, efficiently, and meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Respond quickly to plant failures and outages, fixing problems promptly to restore operations.
- Organize and ensure the safe and timely completion of plant overhaul activities.
- Suggest and implement upgrades and modifications to plant systems and equipment to enhance performance and reliability.
- Oversee the purchase of parts and services needed for maintenance, including ordering spare parts and coordinating with external service providers.
- Supervise and guide a team of technical officers and technicians.
- Focus on developing the skills and capabilities of team members.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognised by the Professional Engineers Board.
- Possesses sound knowledge of Control and Instrumentation and good working knowledge of safety and statutory requirements.
- Driven self-starter with strong work ethics.
- Team player with strong analytical, technology and communication skills.
- Is available on standby after office hours for emergency calls.
- Knowledge in cyber security will be advantageous.
- Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behaviour.
- Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
