Job Scope
- Conduct research on new materials, building and construction technologies, as well as building codes and regulations in Singapore and target markets.
- Work with the global R&D team on product improvement and development in Singapore and target markets.
- Perform simulations and structural calculations on modular buildings, and create reports using simulation programs (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS).
- Collaborate with engineering partners and government authorities on product feasibility studies, product localization, and approval in Singapore and other target markets as required.
- Document and present research findings and developments to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Create design reports to address technical issues.
- Develop schematic designs, layouts, calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
- Offer technical assistance throughout different phases of the project, including end-to-end concept design, design progression, contract documentation, regulatory submissions, contract management, and site meetings.
- Liaise with external consultant teams, architects, contractors, and suppliers to resolve project issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ensure project adherence to schedules.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline
- 5 – 7 years of relevant experiences in building projects
- Knowledge in AutoCAD / SolidWorks will be added advantage
