Job Title: Systems Engineer / Senior Systems Engineer
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled Telecommunications Engineer (or similar) to join our team within the railway communication infrastructure domain. This role involves developing and deploying communication transport solutions, including both fixed and radio systems, for large international railway projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing project requirements and proposing appropriate communication solutions.
- Developing system technical specifications and architectures, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems.
- Serving as the technical interface with customers and other contractors.
- Conducting testing and commissioning works onsite.
- Troubleshooting network issues for both wired and wireless systems.
- Providing technical support to systems once they are operational after commissioning.
- Performing onsite testing and commissioning to ensure successful deployment.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with various communication systems technologies such as fiber-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address and telephony, CCTV surveillance, access management, and travel information systems is preferred.
- Experience in implementing railway-related projects for LTA is an added advantage.
- A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in writing technical proposals and presentations.
- Willingness to work outside of prime office hours as required.
- Self-motivated, service-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal guidance.
