Job Responsibilities:
- To assist the Purchasing and Inventory Manager in maintaining the purchasing and inventory planning processes
- Ensuring the timely arrival of purchases and maintaining existing inventory position in a healthy state
- Involved in liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders on related matters
- Check suppliers’ confirmation orders against our PO issued
- Monitoring of shipping departure and arrival dates of standard POs
- Monitoring of arrival of indent orders and sample requests
- Maintaining timetable of shipment arrivals
- Receiving of items into SAP with accurate details
- Prepare monthly marine cargo insurance declaration
- Conduct monthly inventory check on a selected list of stock items to ensure accuracy of stock position
- Liaise with Warehouse team on inventory discrepancies, rectification to follow
- Prepare monthly report for Managing Director’s review and Finance
- Update SAP with adjustments on non-sales inventory issuance e.g. samples issued, damages etc
- Update SAP with inventory repacking
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum Nitec/Diploma in Supply Chin / Logistics Management or related field with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of SAP, Incoterms would be an added advantage
