Job Responsibilities:
1. Support team leaders by managing daily operations and maintenance for the Singapore based IT applications, ensuring adherence to established change control procedures.
2. Contribute actively as a member of the Application team, engaging in creative problem-solving and cooperation with peers.
3. Provide L2 and L3 support to users across front, middle, and backoffice functions.
4. Document and report production issues (PRD incidents) to the leads, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve them and escalating to higher management when necessary.
5. Enhance the stability of the production environment by refining current processes and controls as needed.
6. Implement system and application updates through project work, following the project lifecycle from start to finish.
7. Uphold a high standard for documentation, managing and versioning records for all system updates, regardless of project type/size.
8. Exhibit adaptability in diagnosing problems and offering alternative solutions.
9. Work with project stakeholders to ensure timely execution of BAU and project tasks.
10. Anticipate potential problems, proactively informing management and proposing viable solutions.
11. Handle sensitive and confidential data, such as financial and customer information, in compliance with the bank’s data security guidelines.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
2. A minimum of five years’ experience in IT application support, preferably within a banking environment.
3. Proficient in English and Japanese with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Strong interpersonal abilities, fostering trust and teamwork.
5. Analytical mindset with the capability to simplify complex issues for understanding.
6. Demonstrated organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
7. Experience in Software development (good to have).
