Our client in the medical devices industry, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Managing Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership
- Lead the development of the company, developing strategies to achieve planned company’s milestones
- Provide leadership to engineers and other staff in achieving the company’s objectives
- Plan and propose resources to support the growth demands of the company
- Communicate with external and internal stakeholders and shareholders
Operational and clinical partnership
- Work closely with the engineering team to create strong partnership with manufacturers in the production of products with a keen commercial focus
- Act as interface with consultants leading to the successful product registration in jurisdictions such as FDA, CE Mark, HSA and others
- Identify key opinion leaders (KOL) to support clinical marketing efforts
- Identify and execute suitable clinical plans that accentuate the clinical strength of the company’s product
Market expansion
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities including geographic expansion
- Provide leadership in the commercialization efforts of the company’s product, including development and execution of entry strategies for new markets to ensure successful market penetration and growth
- Implement and execute plans that includes sourcing for distribution partners and identifying suitable channels to market the product
Financial Management
- Oversee the financial management of the company
- Work with the finance team to seek revenue forecast and budget
- Monitor financial performance against forecasts and execute corrective actions as needed for cost management of top-line and bottom line
- Work with lead director in the fundraise to support the company’s financial resources
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 7-8 years in management role and proven ability demonstrated to manage P&L business
- Prior knowledge or experience working in medical device industry, particularly relating to hospital beds development will be an advantage

- Location: West (Near MRT)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
- Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
