JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the full spectrum of duties mainly focus on Accounts Payable (AP).
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable (AR) duties like generate finance-related invoice and credit note, incoming payments, credit management and AR reporting to Finance Manager.
• Handling inventory duties like stock adjustment, annual stock take documentation and other inventory-related tasks given.
• Assisting with submission of Quarterly GST Returns. Able to handle all tax issues, including withholding tax & MES.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end and year-end closing reporting to Finance Manager.
• Responsible for the full spectrum of duties on Staff Claim from reviewing and processing to conduct training sessions for employee on staff claim procedures and policies.
• Support Finance Team members with various tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in accountancy or higher accounting ACCA.
• Min 3 years’ experience with knowledge in AP, AR, inventory, and accounting principles.
JOB-RELATED SKILLS & PRE-REQUISITES
• Good working knowledge of IFRS & Proficient in SAP.
• Knowledge of Taxation will be an advantage.
• Possess the knowledge of Staff Claim System will be an advantage.
• Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Detailed oriented, organized and accurate.
• Be able to work with diverse personalities.
• Be willing to pursue collection of accounts receivables.
• A self-starter who is able to plan, organize & take initiative to independently meet job objectives and deadlines.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with numbers and understand a broad range of common financial matter in a timely manner.
• Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work. Able to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
