Responsibilities:-
- To assist the Project Manager in all site activities
- To implement the work plan of the Project Manager
- To supervise and oversee the direction of the project, ensuring that the Client’s specifications and requirements are met
- To monitor work schedules in accordance with the master’s program
- To ensure that installation works are in accordance with approved drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements
- To handle site administration and management which include site safety and control of materials/plants on site
- To define the responsibilities and management structure of the site management team, and to lead the site team through the duration of construction, testing/commissioning and handover of the project..
- To ensure that document control procedures at the site are in place and is followed. Establishes and maintains a documented quality system as a means of ensuring that all elements of the Project conform to contract requirements, specific certificate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Attend project meetings
- Conduct site inspection with relevant parties to resolve technical/site issues
- Ensure timely handover of project
- Other ad-hoc tasks project-related tasks as deemed necessary
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil & Structural, Environmental Engineering or equivalent;
- Having a CSCPM certificate will be a plus point
- Min. 6 years of engineering experience ideally in a managerial role in a large-scale infrastructure design and construction projects done locally
- Some experience in Wafer fab or pharmaceutical will be an added advantage
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles
- Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a teamwork ethics
- Able to work independently and cope in a fast-paced environment
- Able to converse in both English & preferably Mandarin as required to liaise with Mandarin speaking site workers, subcons/vendors
- Singaporean or Singapore PR preferred
