Main Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and highly accomplished Assistant Executive Housekeeper to be part of the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree team. The incumbent will assist our Executive Housekeeper to develop housekeeping procedures, training and developing staff, and other critical pre-opening activities to ensure a successful opening.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Executive Housekeeper, the incumbent will help oversee the organization and running of housekeeping areas (e.g laundry, storage etc). In performing this role, the Assistant Executive Housekeeper will also ensure that housekeeping operations are run in adherence to the Resort’s established cleaning standards and other associated protocols.
- Responsible for enhancing our guests’ satisfaction and upholding our brand’s standard by maintaining exceptional cleanliness and standards of comfort.
- The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will, amongst others, work with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure adequate staffing levels, monitor the Resort’s inventory of supplies, coach and guide Associates to ensure that all day-to-day operational matters are handled on time and that that guest expectations are met.
- Manage and maintain our housekeeping supplies, including hotel linen, cleaning supplies and other associated assets.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality / Hotel Management or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field.
- 4 to 6 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Able to handle matters independently, and able to exercise self-motivation to enroll and complete projects.
