Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Distribution Recruitment, you will be leading a group of Financial Specialists and ensuring that the quality of the advisory process and transactions is aligned with the company and regulatory standards.
The Job
· Ensure needs-based selling in accordance with the Financial Advisers Act and service compliance with both internal market conduct compliance and external regulatory requirements.
· Guide newly hired Financial Specialists through weekly coaching and joint field work.
· Work closely with agency business partners to deliver sales performance.
· Ensure that the Financial Specialists meet company performance and competency standards, and maintaining accurate records for monthly reporting.
· Attentive to regulatory changes and potential business risks, and keep team updated.
· Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
· Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
· Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Our Requirements
· A recognized degree with at least 3 years' experience in the financial services industry.
· Sound understanding of financial planning concepts, and insurance and wealth management solutions.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Preferably with CMFAS Mod 5, 9, 9A, CHI qualifications.
· Prior management experience is highly advantageous.
· Successfully appointed under the Representative Notification Framework (RNF) and passed all Fit and Proper checks.
· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
· Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
