Job Responsibilities: -
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records, monitor and identify slow moving stock where applicable
- Analyse ordering frequency, monitor stock level and place orders as needed
- Maintain procurement listing, suppliers database and Purchase Orders
- Continuously reviewing and negotiating with supplier for better pricing and delivery terms
- Work closely with QC to resolve any quality issues and yearly audit
- Actively sourcing for alternative suppliers with competitive prices
- Administer full document control for the arrival of goods in the warehouse
- Communicate shipment details to relevant stakeholders
- Liaise and visit with suppliers to ensure orders imports comply to the Singapore import legislation
- Handle customs, shipment, and import matters
- Handle all related claims & follow up with suppliers promptly
Job Requirements: -
- Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Min. 2 years of procurement experience
- 5.5 days work week
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and ERP systems
- Good team player, with a strong sense of urgency to deadlines
- Meticulous and organised, with an eye for accuracy in document control
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
