About the Client:
Our client in a Reputed Bank Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight on daily General Ledger Operations, in the areas of GL controls, monitoring and reconciliations.
- Maintenance of COA from a General Ledger & Control perspective for new accounts creation.
- Perform monitoring and checks to identify and escalate any risk and control issues, to ensure they are adequately addressed and resolved promptly.
- Support external/internal audit requests and update internal documentations/SOPs.
- Perform data analysis on the General Ledger.
- Understand end to end processes and constantly challenge status quo for continuous improvements of control and efficiency.
Requirement:
- A recognized university diploma / degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or its equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting with General Ledgers controls.
- Experience in business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI and QlikView
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to deliver presentations to senior management.
