To support our aggressive business expansion, we are seeking for a qualified Accountant to join our growing team.
The Accountant will report to the Directors and he/she will be involved in most if not all aspects of accounting and also oversees the day-to-day accounting activities. He/she ensures that the organisation's accounting functions are well organised and financial reports are generated timely and accurately as well as are in compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.
He/she must be up-to-date with changing statutory requirements and tax laws and determine the implications of such changes to financial reporting. He/she must also work with the leadership team to help define the organisation overall financial strategy.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for monthly accounts payable processing including charging expenses to the respective accounts, cost centres, payments, statement reconciliation..etc
* Oversees journal entries posting and processing to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
* Liaise with external auditors and tax consultant
* Assist in GST computation for return submission
* Management and statutory reporting
* Project Leader for ERP system - Navision
Requirements:
* Possess at least a diploma or degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. ACCA would be an advantage.
* At least 2-5 years relevant experience in similiar role
* Able to handle full set of accounts
* Familiar with business processes
* Hands on experience in accounting software.
* Strong organisational skills and attentive to details
* Good interpersonal and communication skills . Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
